A young kid used some abusive language and immediately chased up by his mother to render an appology then and there itself[ Kids in western countries have a feeling Indians and chinese are taking away the jobs due to higher IQ and low salary,so they hate Indians and chinese it's not applicable to all kids tough
].

I learnt it from very young age by grace of my parents. To accept the mistake and render an appology. Some time we find it very difficult to say sorry and accept our fault even if we are at the wrong side.

My dad was SDO (Sub divisional officer, administrative head of a subdivision) of a small but scenic beautiful place on eastern part of India. Those days with less political influence govt. officers used to command power and respect . I's barely age of 4 when I was admitted to a near by school just beside our palace like govt residence. As far as I remember I's an avg student during my initial school days, less interest on study more emphasis on extra curricular activities .(very naughty)

My papa got me a pair of black BATA shoes(boots) on some festive occasion!!!The other chaps in school used to come in chappls or white canvas shoes. The day I wore the BATA black boot I was in seventh heaven.
Unfortunately I had some altercation with one of my classmates during the play breaks ,I kicked that fellow hard on the butt using my newly acquired weapons the black boots, believe me those days BATA shoes were made of really quality leathers,so u can imagine the pain the poor fella has to bear in the butt.Tough I had a guilty feeling later on but I didn't have guts to say sorry or accept that I did ny thing wrong. This issue was immediately brought to the notice of my head master by the monitor of my class.Though I escaped unharmed without any caning from him ,my worst fear came true when he threatened me to bring this matter to notice of my Papa.

All the well wishers tried their best to hide this incident from papa(Starting from the orderly to PA uncle),but papa got a wind of the incident. The next day he came to my school with me and I was instructed to render and apology to my friend
before the whole class . I almost said those words of apology in chocked voice and was really ashamed of my behaviour. I don't remember after this incidence I ever used my boot to kick anyone hard on the butt.

But I learnt my first lession without a single caning either from my teachers or parents.

Drama in real life...

Today I woke up in the morning with a phone call from one of my friend in UK.He is one of my closest friend from my professional college.

I got shock listening what he conveyed me.I have seen many a times in Hindi movie, but never encountered this with any of my known circle in real life .Let called him Viru .Viru told me his fiancee eloped with her lover yesterday and got married .He is supposed to marry her on 2nd week of June. He has conveyed and applied leave for this ,his family has conveyed about his marriage to all the relatives and invitation cards are all set to be distributed. He is completely shattered with this episode.

I am a good listener and me always try to listen to the problem of friends and ready to lend the shoulder when ever any body needs one.

Viru got engaged to this girl 7/8 months back at India. As he has to travel to UK on project demand ,he thought in between he 'll go back to India on Vacation and marry the Girl. Before getting engaged there was no known issue .This Girl was very happy to get a s/w engineer [Tough there is no drought of s/w engineer from the region we belong to in India] from a reputed organization and with on site exposure. Two month back Viru called me and told he has some issue with his fiancee. When I enquired ,I came to know that the girl was having some affairs with one of his classmate.I asked Viru to immediately clear the confusion ,which in fact he did.The girl told just she is emotionally attached to one of his classmates and it's nothing sort of love. And today this relationship came to a dramatic end.
This is something BAD happened to Viru. The girl has no right to play with the emotion. If she loves somebody else she should have clarified it before engagement itself.I can understand what mental trauma right now my friend is going through.

This is the biggest disadvantage of arranged marriage.
Today lot many people are staying out of India on Job demands. Those unfortunate one who are not able to find a soul mate for themselves has to relay on arranged marriage.Back home our marriage has become a burden for our parents .

We belong to a region where the young generation has stopped the tradition of taking dowry ,an evil to society.
The younger generation is preferring to find their soul mates from the time they are entering college.Tough we belong to 27-30 age group ,we are finding a long generation gap in it.

Already matrimony websites are en-cashing this opportunities.Situation these days is less no of girls and more no of overqualified boys. The girls have lot many options in their hand and rest is history. I think I am deviating from the topic.

I sympathizes with my friend, but one way i am feeling relieved that it happened 1 month before ,what if the same scene would have repeated just few days before or after marriage.I think it's better for him to forget this episode as soon as he can and start his life afresh.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi friends ,thanks for your valuable comments.I spoke to my friend, good news is he is trying to forget the episode as accident ,but bad one is it'll remain as a scar for whole life and high chances that he 'll become over-cautious while choosing his life partner.

Rediscovering...

I usually go through Iland when ever I have free time.Tought of starting bloging on my day today ideas openly here with ILand friends.I find Iland is one of the best forum to do so.I am not a professional write neither have any experience of publishing this kind of stuff in magazines.
I am a software professional ,right now thousand miles away from my homeland. Some time life is very lonely and painful. As well said grass is greener at other end.To most of my friends I am a lucky guy as I am travelling across globe on project demands. But seldom they know apart from office hours how painful here to pass time without your friend circles and away from home.

But the things here on western countries that sometimes forced us to think about our attitude of people and way of govrnance back home ...

1) Social Security offered by the states to it's citizen[May be population is one of the major player here]
2)Infracstuctures
3)Respect to work [They don't look down people on the basis of Job or Social status]
4) Etiquette and manners of people
5)Work and personal life balances

May be back home Populations is the main lacuna and main obstacle .Selfish nature ,Indian menatality and attitude of people towards fellowcountry men.

Poverty ,Ignorance,Illiteracy major factors that depriving India from emerging as a developed country[We are still considered as third world country and among devloping nation ,though our economy is booming] .
